Mammoth is a Summer & Winter Vacation Paradise

Winter in Mammoth means endless fields of snow that sparkle like brilliant diamonds. It’s all about skiing and snowboarding, and it’s all about Mammoth. Mammoth Mountain provides over 3,500 acres of amazing High Sierra terrain – wide open bowls, steep chutes, tree-lined cruisers and terrain parks and half pipes that draw skiers and riders of all ages and abilities.

Summer in Mammoth means azure blue skies, crisp clean air, mountains full of hiking trails, surreal vistas, and pristine backcountry lakes. Swiftly flowing streams and naturally framed photo opportunities appear at every turn. Adventure and activity abounds so whatever you choose, we know you will have the time of your life! The hiking and walking trails on and around Mammoth Mountain are our summer signature. Some trails begin at the summit of Mammoth Mountain and guide you toward Twin Lakes, Reds Meadow or back to the Main Lodge, while others meander through the pines en route to Minaret Vista or around Starkweather Lake.
